According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 adults in America experiences a mental illness. This is equal to about 140,000 Prince George's County residents. Further, 10.6% of Prince George's County residents have no health insurance, and 27% of residents who receive Medicare suffer from heart disease (Source: U.S. News and World Report).

Lifeline Community Outreach serves the health of our community by coordinating free bi-annual health fairs and screenings. Local residents can receive blood pressure and blood glucose checks, nutritional advice, and mental health referrals and resources. Lifeline also connects residents with resources to secure health insurance and consistent care.
