ADOPT-A-SCHOOL

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. (Philippians 2:4)

A 2019 study from the Economic Policy Institute found the nation’s K–12 public school teachers spend, on average, $459 on school supplies for which they are not reimbursed. A 2017 Gallup poll found only 29% of teachers felt they received recognition for their work. Lifeline Community Outreach supports our staff and students in our local schools.

In collaboration with local school administrative teams and the Lifeline Adopt-a-School Program, Lifeline serves local school staff by coordinating regular staff appreciation events to recognize our teachers for the valuable work they do each day on behalf of children. Further, Lifeline serves by packaging classroom supplies to decrease the out-of-pocket spending teachers do to support their students' learning. In addition, Lifeline provides grade-level appropriate materials for students to encourage their learning.
